Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of services and the website operated by Emaculo Mobile Detailing ("we", "us", or "our"). By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Bookings and Payments

Booking Process
Bookings may be made via our website, phone, email, or social media platforms.

Pricing
All prices are indicative and based on average vehicle condition. We reserve the right to adjust pricing on-site if the vehicle condition differs significantly from what was described at booking. Any changes will be communicated before work begins.

Payment Terms
Full payment is due immediately upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to withhold vehicle keys until payment is made where applicable.

Late or Non-Payment
Failure to pay may result in additional fees and refusal of future services.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a cancellation fee.

  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to weather, equipment failure, staff availability, or safety concerns.

4. Services

  • Service times are estimates only and may vary depending on vehicle condition.

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage including scratches, dents, paint defects, interior wear, mechanical issues, or aftermarket modifications.

  • Older or poorly maintained vehicles may have fragile components. By booking, you accept this risk.

  • Results may vary depending on vehicle condition and limitations of detailing versus repair work.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Ensure the vehicle is accessible at the scheduled time

  • Remove all personal belongings prior to service

  • Disclose any known damage, defects, or sensitivities

  • Provide safe access to water and electricity, unless otherwise agreed

  • Ensure pets, children, and bystanders are kept clear during service

We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left inside the vehicle.

6. Photos and Marketing

We may take before and after photos of vehicles for documentation, training, and marketing purposes.
Customers may opt out of marketing use by notifying us at any time before or after the service.

7. Loyalty Program

  • Participation is optional and subject to published rules

  • Rewards have no cash value and are non-transferable

  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the program at any time

  • Fraud, abuse, or manipulation may result in removal from the program

8. Referral Program

  • Referral rewards apply only to qualifying completed services

  • Accurate information must be provided by both parties

  • Rewards are subject to verification and processing time

  • Abuse or misuse may result in forfeiture of rewards and termination from the program

9. Liability

  • We take reasonable care while performing services

  • We are not liable for minor scratches, defects, or failures resulting from normal wear and tear or pre-existing conditions

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses

10. Refusal and Termination of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service if:

  • Conditions are unsafe or unsuitable

  • Customer behaviour is abusive or unreasonable

  • These Terms are breached

  • Access to required utilities is not provided

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

12. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
